Aftershock Music Festival

Regional Parks has permitted the Aftershock Music Festival at Discovery Park. 

The Aftershock Festival will take place Thursday – Sunday, October 2 - 5, 2025.

Event Hours 

  • Thursday and Sunday: 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. 

  • Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. 

We anticipate spectators to be arriving as early as 8 a.m. 

Trail & Road Impacts

  • American River Parkway Multi-Use (Bike) Trail

  • Park Road (Natomas Park Drive)

    • Closed: September 23–October 10 for equipment staging.

    • Vehicle Detour: Use I-5 or Northgate/Highway 160.

  • Boat Launch Ramp

    • Open during set-up/tear-down with limited parking, closed October 2–5 during the festival.​

T​raffic & Parking

  • Main entrance/exit for festivalgoers: Garden Highway.

  • Shuttles provided from Cal Expo.

  • Designated rideshare pickup/drop-off: Bercut Drive (south side).

  • City of Sacramento Police will manage traffic and parking to reduce impacts on nearby roads and businesses.
