• Ancil Hoffman Park Road Construction Project Temporarily Paused for the 4th of July Weekend.

    Enjoy full park access beginning Thursday, July 3, after 5 p.m. This includes evening entry for watching the Rancho Cordova fireworks show across the river on July 3 and 4! The park will also be open during normal hours on July 5 and 6. ​Holiday parking fees ($10 per car) are in effect July 4-6. Please be mindful when parking, as new lines are not yet marked and curb stops have not been installed. Construction will resume on Monday, July 7th, at which point the park will only be open for guests of Golf Course and Effie Yeaw Nature Center. We appreciate your patience and wish you a fantastic, safe holiday!​

  • Temporary Trail Closure at Hagan Park

    The American River Parkway multi-use trail will be closed at Hagan Park starting at 8:30 p.m. on July 3 and 4 due to the close proximity to the Rancho Cordova 4th of July Fireworks Celebration. The event is hosted by the Cordova Community Council and will be held at Hagan Park, which is owned and operated by Cordova Recreation and Park District. Additional event information is available on the Cordova Community Council's website.

    Multi-Use (Bike) Trail detour will be in place at Hagan Park to Rossmoor Drive. Detour: Chase Drive > Coloma Road > Rossmoor Drive

  • Multi-Use Trail Closures and Detours

    The lower multi-use trail will be closed from Campus Commons Golf Course to the "H" Street Bridge.  The upper levee trail will be open in this area. The Campus Commons Golf Course parking lot will be closed for construction site trailers. The multi-use trail is closed for a Caltrans project from just west of State Route 51 American River Bridge to the Union Pacific Rail crossing. A detour is in place​.
