​Rangers and Park Ranger Assistants issued 149 parking citations during the month for the following offenses:

  • 120   Failure to Pay Entry Fee

  • 19     Prohibited Parking 

  • 9       Registration Related

  • 1       Red Zone 

Rangers issued 112 citations for various infractions. The following is a breakdown of the citations issued: 

  • 61    Vehicle Registration Related

  • 14    Carts Prohibited in Park

  • 9      Dogs Off Leash

  • 8      Two License Plates Issued

  • 4      Stop Sign Violations

  • 4      No Insurance

  • 2      Exceeding the Speed Limit

  • 2      Vehicle in Prohibited Area

  • 1      Smoking in a Prohibited Area

  • 1      Digging in the Parkway

  • 1      Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk

  • 1      Illegal U Turn
