ARHNA is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the Effie Yeaw Nature Center through fundraising, volunteering, and docent activities. ARNHA cooperates with other community organizations working to protect and enhance the American River Parkway, and is a member of the American River Parkway Coalition.

The Foundation is a fundraising organization that provides support for the preservation, protection and enhancement of the American River Parkway by restoring habitat, improving public safety and increasing public stewardship. The Foundation also coordinates the Great American River Clean-Up Day and is a member of the American River Parkway Coalition.
American River Parkway Volunteer Equestrian Trail Patrol

Founded in 1995, mounted volunteers serve as the 'eyes and ears' of the Parkway. The purpose of the organization is to provide assistance to the public and the Regional Parks Department by conducting mounted patrols along the 23 miles of American River Parkway trails.
